I had two rounds of interviews. The first round was with a recruiter. The second round was a multiple person panel on zoom. I realized during my second round that this role was not what I thought it was. I thought I was applying for a Consumer Activation role (producing consumer facing events and activation). Based on the interview questions, I realized it was really about in-store retail sales activations, not event related. I'm not sure how I made it past the first round because I definitely talked about my event production experience the whole time!
