Position brought to me by a headhunter. Had 3 rounds: 1. Phone interview with a VP; 2. Face-to-face with two VPs; 3. Face-to-face with 8-10 people analyst-MD level. The team was very busy and thus the process dragged on for months.
Round 1-2 was a mix of motivation (reasons to move, why Jefferies, why healthcare, what do you know about healthcare sector?) and technical questions. One of the VPs focused a lot on the modelling: how debt affects DCF? How to calculate WACC? EV vs. equity; What are debt-like items; accretion/dilution analysis; a couple of questions on LBO etc.
Round 3 was mostly fit, experience based questions. MD asked out of blue what's 13 cubed. Other than that he did most of the talking.
