J2 Scientific was not a company that I had originally wanted to work for, but I applied as a backup option. After submitting a resume, cover letter, and transcripts, I was sent an application to print out and fax back. The application required me to fill in boxes by breaking down my resume had a blank space to write additional info or a cover letter. This seemed redundant as they already had this info from me, and I was not required to provide them with anything more. After this I spoke with someone on the phone and the entire process seemed very unprofessional. At this point I was assured that I did not want to work here. About two days later I received a very unprofessional email that basically said I was not good enough for the position. I have received many rejection letters, but none that were as blatant as this one.
