I received a an email about a week after I applied for a Software Engineering position at IXL Learning. They wanted to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview consisted of some technical and logical questions. There wasn't a big focus on my prior experience on my resume. The questions were pretty straight forward, basic data structure questions that I answered correctly. I did have a problem with one of them but it's just because I haven't worked with it. Regardless, the data structure questions went very well. Then the logical questions. They asked two (in the same category) and I was able to answer them with no problems and verified my answer right after the interview just to make sure (and it did check out). I received an email a few days later telling me that they were going to pursue other options. I was very surprised. I thought I did very well. I answered all of the questions correctly (all but one but it was a little thing), and I had some good follow up questions that I prepared and thought of on the spot in regards to the position/company. No reason was given as to why. My guess would be my experience. I had only a few years experience and it was in C++ but I did mention that I had a strong grasp on Java (Did all through school) which they are looking for. The interviewer was very nice, and I thought it went well. Blown away by this really.

Lengthy interview process with a super day at the end. 4 OAs to complete, all of these being quite easy. Then you move on to a technical round which you can solve if you practice enough leetcode hards. Final round is 3 technical interviews and a behavioral. I recommend reviewing priority queues.

Leetcode question live with a engineer that was related to data structures and algorithms. around 30 minutes. On zoom. They gave special link to do the exam on and they told you question and let you run it .

Leetcode questions similar to medium/hard level (stuff with hash maps)
There are multiple rounds. Starts with a phone call with a recruiter. After that, there is a technical round with an engineer, Then after that, it was three back to back technical rounds in the same day.
