After submitting my resume and cover letter online I got a confirmation that it had been received. I responded to said e-mail to reinforce what I had said in my cover letter. About three weeks later I was invited to a short telephone interview and at the end of that interview was scheduled for a face-to-face interview. Within hours after the face-to-face interview I received a phone call from the recruiter to inform me that IKEA was offering me the position I applied for and its rate of pay. After that everything has been done online. All very efficient but with a personable touch.
