They replied my interest on the position, but I felt I wasn't really interested in moving forward.
Subsequently the COO called me directly (without notice) to ask me a few questions - ended by asking me to quickly fill up the documents sent so that they can formally interview me.
Documents consisted of:
1. Questionnaire on different scenarios
2. 14-page long document asking for these and more
- Family members occupation
- Previous jobs
- Previous education
- Certificates earned
I replied the email asking to fill the 2nd document at a later stage of the interview, and it was agreed upon.
A date was then set for the interview, and I made sure I was on leave that day.
3 hours before the interview, I received an email saying that the position was filled and the interview was cancelled.
In general felt like time was not respected here, since I was reached out to and asked to move on to the next step, I genuinely wanted to give it a shot, and even give some perspective on the community even if I chose not to work there.
So to go through that makes me feel that there is a general disregard for the time of others.
