I was given a verbal offer and told I'd receive it formally over the next day or two. Weeks later and after a few chasers, I received an email confirming the role had not been approved. I appreciate these things can happen, but the response / follow up from GHD was poor. After an online submission, HR discussion, 2 interviews (one including a presentation), I received 2 lazily written emails which gave me no real insight into what was happening I tried to arrange a quick call twice to understand what was happening and provided my availability but got nothing back. I wasn't asking for the world - just to be treated with a bit more respect at this late stage in the process. Completely ruined the relationship built and I am super disappointed in the outcome.
