Reasonable enough behavioral interview process, but the coding asked for the use of AI. The question was reasonable enough—perhaps *easy* (think two-dimensional array problems), I completed it quickly and with good communication, and by leveraging the AI code assistant smartly.
Despite this, that was the end of the process. No idea what they wanted.

Do a coding exercise (React) using a coding assistant (AI).
An introduction meeting with the hiring manager followed by a coding interview with another software engineer. They had scheduled a second technical interview but cancelled after the coding interview as they decided to not move foward. The process hangs on your ability to answer a leet-code question in the way they want it to be answered.
