I applied on Indeed for the Redding location and was contacted for a first interview by the regional office within a week. The interview was fine, but it was clear the interviewer was distracted by whatever meeting was going on inside the office (I was interviewed in the lobby).
A day or so after I was told I'd 'get a text message' about my application and never getting anything, I left a message on Indeed asking for the status of my application. And a woman responded asking to set up an interview. I was like "oh, I didn't know a second interview was necessary for a $13(?)/hr job, but okay."
I set up the second phone interview, and this woman never called. I sent multiple, "Hey, I understand you're busy. I'm near my phone, so I'll be ready when you are." Trying to be as flexible as possible, because stuff does happen. No response.
And like two weeks later, the same person messages me on Indeed to set up another interview, completely forgetting that she had already scheduled an interview (i mean, I could scroll up on the messages and see clearly that she was giving me the same name as the person who didn't call me for the 'second' interview, but whatever.)
Obviously, I didn't care at this point, and mentioned that I had an in-person interview and that she missed the interview phone call she scheduled weeks prior, and that I was no longer interested.
Her response was, "I see that x interviewed you in the office."
It was all kind of a joke, if you ask me, especially with the pay being so low. Interviewing people doesn't seem to be on the Redding office's list of priorities.
