Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Epic (Madison, WI) en mar 2024
Entrevista
There was an initial Zoom meeting where we were muted and given an overview of the company. The host went over the company and about the various roles for the hosting team. She then gave instructions on what would happen next. A few days later, I was invited to take a logic and programming test (I'm not a programmer) that was exhausting. I think I spend nearly 4 hours taking the test. They said there was no preparation necessary - lol. It felt like a college entrance test. I was then given a personality test. I never got to talk with anyone about my experience or what I was looking for in a new role. I'm glad I did not schedule the test and just took it right away - only wasted a Saturday morning. I wish they never reached out to me on LinkedIn - I think they were just looking for pools of candidates who might be interested in working on their amazing complex in Wisconsin. However, there are some things that are strange in their culture so keep that in mind. As I expected after the testing, they are not moving forward with me - I'm so thankful.
Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Epic (Madison, WI) en ene 2020

Process took about 3 weeks. Process is very intensive and I feel like it haggles the younger/college graduate crowd. If you interview for any normal company in the workforce, it's a phone screen and in person interview. But for EPIC you have to take an SAT exam while someone else watches you and demands you look at the screen and not anywhere else. Combine that with a behavioral interview, and then another phone screen with an actual employee who disinterested and wasn't even the person they told me I would be speaking with. Felt like I was in highschool. They take advantage of students innocence. An example of this being, I asked my recruiter what the salary range was for the role and was told "At epic we don't believe in pay ranges, and will evaluate pay based on performance". That's literally a scam tactic used to undercut employee wages kids. So I have to go through hours of tests (Why am I coding btw for a role that doesn't require coding?!", phone screens, and on campus interviews to be given such a low salary at the offer. No thanks. I would save your time and look elsewhere students or straight out of college kids.
