The interview went fine, informal, just a nice 30 minutes convo. However, despite being directly told that they were more than comfortable moving me to the next step, aka the panel interview, and to look for the invite within the following week, they have completely ghosted me. Ironic when Doordash has a whole webpage about the ghosting issue with their merchants. This is not OK. I asked for a follow-up 2 weeks later and was told I would hear back soon. It was almost 2 months ago. Crickets since, but the position is being reposted over and over. Highly unprofessional and disappointing behavior. I'd recommend not promising anything if you can't deliver.

The guy who called me for the interview was 5 to 10 minutes late and seemed a bit distracted. He explained the position and asked general questions about my work experience. He said he thought I would be a great fit for the company but that competition was high because over 500 people applied for a single position, which seemed to me a very strange thing to say. He promised to follow up in 2 weeks after he interviewed other candidates. I didn't hear back until exactly 30 days from the day that I interviewed when I received what appeared to be an automated form email saying they went with another applicant, even though the job posting is still up. Not sure what to make of it but I definitely am not interested in working in such a seemingly disorganized work environment.
