Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Dolby (San Francisco, CA) en may 2018
Entrevista
Don't usually post reviews on my interview experience. But this was pretty bad. I worked/work for the bay area's top 4 and had in the past failed interviews and not bitter about it but I want people to know what they're getting into interviewing with these guys. Interviewed for a senior position in HW Design. Recruiter contacted me a few weeks after applying. Then scheduled a call with the director a couple of weeks after that. The director was very nice and had a well written job description. I didn't hear back for another two weeks with emails to the recruiter going unanswered. When he finally answered he said they're scheduling another technical phone interview. I gave them a range of availability. They called when I was in China for work. Had to wake up at 5am to make the call. Spoke with their senior staff engineer who was not very professional. Possibly the guy I have been told is eyeing the position; but that's besides the point. He was very dry and non courteous. Went for nearly 2 hours instead of the allotted 1 hour. Even though I kept telling him I gotta catch a shuttle to the factory. More than half the interview focused on HDMI (his expertise) despite the description and the director making no mention of this and me making it clear that I'm an Audio guy and this is an Audio line of products.
It took them two more weeks of unanswered emails to get a reply from the recruiter simply saying they're moving on with no real feedback.
