I was referred by a friend who was acquainted with the hiring manager. My phone screen was conducted with an HR leader and she scheduled an interview with the hiring manager. The interview was cancelled and I was told they would tech back out with next steps and then, I was ghosted. I only knew the position was filled because the person who took it announced it online.
