      Recruiter reached out to me for a half an hour interview. To go onto the next stage, she sent me an online survey about sales and the sales process that took an hour to complete. I then was told that I would go to the next round, to meet with the head of Customer success. She did not ask a single question about background, but just asked how I would upsell different services, and what approach I would take. She didn't ask any questions about my background. She said that this role pays between $70 and $75K and I can only offer you $70K at this time. Very condescending 1-hour interview, although I kept it professional at all times.

      Initial phone screening, one on one with hiring manager, dual interview with department head and hiring manager. Straightforward process altogether, talent acquisition coordinator was very kind and helpful. Process took about 3-4 weeks in total

      Thank you for your feedback and we are pleased to see you had on overall positive interview experience. A quick note regarding our overall interview process you've mentioned. Descartes takes a very measured approach to interviewing - allowing both parties throughout the process a chance to get to fully align on the roles, responsibilities, skills needed, and answer any questions. We provide feedback along the way and move forward with candidates where there is both mutual fit and interest. We do invest a lot of time interviewing as ideally the time spent with Descartes results in employees who remain with us for many years to follow.
