They ask for a CV and cover letter during application based on which they select 200 of the 1100-1500 applicants.
Then they ask you to dedicate 3-4 days to participate in an online case that is managed by an app called PeerPilot, after which they SAY they will invite the top 30 candidates to the Assessment Centre.
However, even if you are ranked among the top 30 and the solution you offer is the winning solution (as was the case with me) they do not call you for the interview unless you are a European. Of course, they keep their rejection vague and talk about very high competition, but the prejudice of the HR is very clear: They even plan the recruitment dates so that a non-European cannot apply for a visit visa. In 2018, they kept a gap of only 3 working days between the selection of candidates and the day for the Assessment Centre.
My suggestion to the company:
Tell the students clearly that you only want Europeans and stop calling it a GLOBAL Programme.
Suggestion to applicants:
Unless you are European, don't waste 3-4 days of your life.
If you are a European, remember that for the PeerPilot phase, first say something popular (something that an average applicant would have heard of; coz you need their vote) and then only the quantity of your input matters (not quality). Game the system, get the job, enjoy!

Long interview Process as they received 1400 applications, but tonnes of fun.
They use the typical online application where you submit your CV, online games and simulations to narrow it down, and when they are down to 30 applicants, they invite them for an assessment days, with creative team problem solving, team case presentations and more.
