The interview process went quite well overall. I began with an hour-long phone conversation that allowed me to discuss my qualifications and experiences in depth. Following that, I had an in-person interview that lasted about two hours. During both discussions, I felt engaged and was able to connect with the interviewers, which led me to believe that I had made a positive impression.
After investing a total of three hours of my time in these interviews, I anticipated some form of feedback, whether positive or negative. I expected at the very least a courteous email to inform me of their decision, acknowledging my effort and time. Unfortunately, I have not received any communication from them. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism in not even sending a brief note saying “thank you for your time, but we have selected another candidate.” It feels disheartening to dedicate hours to a potential opportunity without any acknowledgment of my time and efforts.
