It was collegial and friendly when they were interested in you and then crickets…remained in limbo for several weeks with one “hold tight” follow-up email from them to only be in limbo again for couple more weeks and then after I followed up I got a basic “thanks but no thanks” rejection after making it to final round interview. Truly enjoyed insightful interview with department manager, new director of division was not very engaging nor insightful and could not answer my general questions regarding the division and dynamics.
