Applied online and a few days later received a phone interview from the manager of the position. That interview went well and he asked typical questions and explained the role. I felt it went well and was motivated about the company and role. I moved on to the next round of phone interviews with another person in the department. Absolutely horrible. The guy admitted he didn't know anything about the role and did not know the job description. I felt he didn't know what to ask and was very awkward. I tried asking him questions and keep the conversation going but was a very awkward and uncomfortable interview. Extremely unprofessional and quite frankly a waste of my time asking me to interview with someone who didn't know about the role or what to ask.
