Entrevista
Started with a short call with HR, followed by on-site with hiring manager, who was clear in the role expectations and explained the wider team's roles clearly. The interview ended with hiring manager expressing some reservations and I was prepared to end it.
One week later, got scheduled by HR for a video call with a cross department manager, and a week later, followed by 3 more rounds with other departments. Got a generic rejection a month later.
Probably if they had decided to eliminate candidates after first round, it should be done asap and not after 5-6 rounds, which is a huge drain in time and resources for everyone. All the interviews were polite and willing to share their role and how it links to the hiring team's role.
The interview process was a long but detailed process and gave me the opportunity to meet multiple people and make an informed decision. I found the interviewers to be very keen on providing honest and detailed answers to questions as much as they wanted to gauge my experience. This left a very positive impression on my mind.
