Entrevista
I was contacted by a recruiter about the remote position in Centric. I had at first a phone interview with her, then it was a video interview with a direct supervisor. Then they gave a project assignment to complete in max 2-3 days. In the meantime there was an interview with the team and the team manager. After such interview if I passed I would have 1-2 more.
Before each interview and after each interview I had a prepare call and follow up call with the recruiter.
The project took many hours for me to complete. It was quite an elaborate assignment.
And after all this I was ghosted!!! I haven't receive a simple email with at least one phrase to say that I was not selected. None from the recruiter, none from the people I was interviewed by.
Especially after such a complex hiring process and after such big project (which they might use as free ideas for themselves).
I find it very disrespectful and disappointing.
The interview was scheduled by a recruiter - he had apparently misunderstood availability on the hiring manager so she stood me up to the interview (although a calendar invite had been sent and she hadn't declined or rescheduled). She was then out for the week and said we would have to reschedule later - and then all subsequent emails to the recruiter and hiring manager were ignored. Didn't ever hear anything - even canned email.
