Honestly, I am at my wits ends with these long interviews only to not get the job. This position required 2 - 1 hour each long interview. I interviewed with the recruiter first, then a few days later was the back to back interviews. The first interview (hour long) was with the manager and director of the department. Very informational and it took every bit of the hour. The second interview that occurred immediately after was with the Senior Analysts (3 people) and they basically went through what a complete day/week/month would look like. They asked me why I applied for the position and what stood out the most, etc. I have a degree/background in Finance and I’ve been in Contract Management for over 4 years now. I followed up with the recruiter to thank him the following Monday(no response). I sent 2 more emails a week apart to see if there was any feedback/updates. Absolutely no response. 3 weeks later I received the automatic email saying I was not selected. Meanwhile, I still have not received a response from the recruiter providing any feedback. This is my educational/career background so it would it would be nice to know close that gap. I would say this was a complete waste of 2 1/2 hours. I will more than likely never apply or interview with this company again due to the recruiter ghosting me. I don’t even know why I wasn’t selected.
