I applied online and was then texted by an AI bot to schedule an interview. I showed up, and the person who was scheduled to interview before me was still waiting because no one was there. We had no way to get a hold of anyone, and the AI bot wouldn't respond. Luckily, we found a building employee who had the GM's number and called them. Apparently, they were expecting us at a different location and didn't know the AI had told us to go here. So all our interviews ran about 40 min late. The interview was easy enough, with typical questions about customer service and work behavior. Unfortunately, I was ghosted afterwards (despite having decades of first-class customer service experience and feeling like the interview went great) and once again had no contact information to follow up with.
