Was initially contacted by phone about 6 weeks after applying. Went in for an interview about four days after the phone call. Was interviewed by the HR specialist at Fremont, NE location and the prospective supervisor. Interview was well structured and neither of them made me feel uncomfortable. They were quite personable and kept the interview casual but professional. Upon the conclusion of the interview they indicated that I wouldn't hear anything back for about a full month which was fine with me. I checked in with the HR specialist the week that they indicated they would have a decision just to let her know that I was still interested and to answer any questions they may have had about my qualifications. She responded positively and I continued to wait for an answer. Six more weeks go by from this time and I continued to check in once a week to two weeks to ensure there are no discrepancies. The HR specialist did indicate to me that the supervisor hadn't yet made a decision because he had been swamped with the springtime workload. She said she would make it a point to let him know I called and that I would be hearing from him soon. I finally get an email on the seventh week after the original date saying that they had selected another candidate after much deliberation.
