During the final panel interview, a large portion of the discussion again focused on behavioural questions similar to earlier rounds, while the assessment itself was repeatedly described as being focused more on problem solving approach, research methodology, communication, and learning ability rather than getting every answer technically correct. The panel also gave fairly positive live feedback during the interview, mentioning that the assessment was intended to evaluate thought process and investigative approach. Because of that context, the final rejection feedback felt unexpectedly brief and somewhat inconsistent, ultimately being reduced mainly to another candidate having more Salesforce experience. After several rounds and the level of preparation involved, I had hoped for more detailed developmental feedback, particularly given the emphasis placed throughout the process on learning ability and approach over prior platform experience. I would simply advise future candidates to expect a very detailed and time intensive interview process, even for junior-level positions.
