I recently interviewed for the Tech Lead position at Beehyv. Overall, the experience was smooth and well-structured.
Round 1: Technical Screening (JavaScript & React.js)
Focused on core JavaScript and React fundamentals. Included one JavaScript coding question to assess problem-solving and language basics.
Round 2: Machine Coding Round
Built a feature similar to nested comments. This round evaluated component design, state management, and overall code structure.
Round 3: System Design & Project Discussion
Discussion-based round covering component architecture, performance optimizations, client-side vs server-side state management, bundling tools, and detailed discussion of past projects and design decisions.
Round 4: Aptitude Test
Questions based on logical and mathematical aptitude, including subsets, probability, seating arrangements, and digit-based puzzles with unique digits and sum constraints.
Round 5: HR Discussion
Smooth and friendly discussion around role expectations, experience, and overall fit.
Overall Experience:
The interview process was well-organized, relevant to the role, and conducted professionally. Communication was clear at every stage, and the interviewers were knowledgeable and approachable.
