Entrevista
A complete waste of time.
First they send a 15 min multi choice codility test.
Then 1 hour interview with Manager and Lead.
Then a coding assignment.
Then they wanna talk about your assignment.
Until last stage it went smooth, I came to Dubai with personal business and at once met the team in a mall (That's quite odd though, never had none of my interviews in a mall, not mentioning a technical one) to talk about the assignment. Even though they have their own company computers they expect you to bring your own comp and go through the assignment, which in my case caused few extra issues, like plug sockets are different and my comp had no batteries installed for which I sorta felt guilty because a start-up took so long and we had to relocate to a different cafe then the one we have agreed because of the plug sockets unavailability, which of course caused extra stress even before we began.
Despite a few attempts to get some feedback, they all went silent since a week now. Even the HR who wanted to have me on whatsapp to boost the communication, stopped reading my messages after the last stage. Quite disappointing and a complete waste of time...

Pregunta 1
Out of 3 people (2 devs and a manager) only one was asking React performance related questions, it lasted quite short not more than only 3-4 questions, the other dev and the manager were almost completely silent throughout the meeting... they were quite wondering about the reason behind my business travel to the UAE most of the time, asking the same question multiple times...
We do not have any site in Dushanbe? We are located in Abu Dhabi in the UAE.
In September 2021 the office may have been in WFH mode due to Covid restrictions. We have never to my knowledge interviewed anyone in a shopping mall.
