      Entrevista

      I received an international call which I ignored as I thought it was a scam. It transpired that it was an outsourced team in a different country. I received an email to schedule an informal call with a manager in Manchester. This was very basic and a misuse of time. I then was invited to a Teams interview with the Head of Talent Acquisition which went well and was very structured but only for 30 minutes so no opportunity to sell yourself or ask more questions about the team and job. Was told that they want to move quickly and would hear in a couple of days. ONE WEEK LATER I had to chase for feedback with nor response! TWO WEEKS LATER I received an email with no 'Dear' or 'Hi' and made poor excuses for the delay. I was given scores for a couple of my answers which I couldn't relate to the questions asked. Was then given a generic 'we found someone better suited' which provides no valid reason for me not being successful. I was informed that BT provide a very candidate focussed recruitment process. Unfortunately the delay, poor reason for rejection and not picking up the phone after two weeks delay proves otherwise! Also a very top down approach from the manager who clearly does not value his team.
