overall quite easy, AC was finished within a day, consisting of 1 group + 2* 1 v 1 interviews. HR could be more efficient. Heard of stories of them ghosting candidates.

The assessment day is made up of a maths test, sales game, trading game and one interview.
For the sales game you're given various pieces of data about 5 made up stocks such as P/E ratios, market cap etc. Then in your group you have to decide on which stock to pitch and then you present a 5 minute pitch.
The trading game is quite manic and lots of people don't really know what's going on so for that I'd recommend just being really talkative - I was a sales person for this game, and personally, I felt this was quite a good role if you like talking.
The maths test is pretty basic, wouldn't worry about that. From what I remember, there are a few percentage questions, along with exchange rates.
My interview was mainly competency based. Had to talk through my CV, why BNP Paribas, what I did in my previous summer internship etc. Technical questions I was asked were 'what do you know about Global Markets?' - I know someone else who was asked 'where do you see the industry in 5 years time?'
I didn't get asked any logical questions but I know a few people from previous assessment centres who were asked things like 'why are manhole covers round?' and 'how many oranges have been eaten in USA today?'

If you passed the resume screening, you were interviewed over the phone by one to two members of the team. Most of the question focused on soft skills and personality questions. After that I was invited to a super day (which also had a heavy soft skill focus with 1-2 technical questions).

Application screening then psychometric tests and behavioural tests followed by Hirevue and telephone interview. Successful candidates are then progressed to Assessment Centre after which offers are given out. Hirevue was relatively easy with generic questions such as why BNP, why div, what do you hope to learn.
