Interviewing with BLT was an enjoyable muti-step process. Initially there was a phone interview with the President and my current manager. They thoroughly explained the role and responsibilities. I was given plenty of time to highlight my accomplishments and ask any questions. I was directed that I would hear from someone shortly to schedule next steps.
After the phone interview, I was contacted to set up a lunch meeting. This was for me to meet both my initial interviewers and some of the other staff I would be supporting. BLT is a family environment and that shows in the interview process and the day to day here in the office. Lunch was, in my opinion, a great way for us to all get to know one another in a less formal setting. The discussion was geared more toward my goals and how I saw working for BLT fitting into my big picture. It was nice to know that everyone from the President on down was invested in finding the perfect fit for the company. I left the lunch feeling good about future communications from BLT.
I received the call a few days later letting me know I got the job!
