Set up a phone interview quickly. He was unable to provide me salary information over the phone but tried to sell the benefits package and "competitive" salary. He stated they would be bringing in candidates in the next few days for in person interviews. 30 minutes later i received an email request to come in for an interview the next day. Hesitantly i agreed to an in person interview . They asked me about my background, skillset, education- as well as specific questions about IP addresses. I was asked my salary requirements- and then was offered 15k less. They continued to push that i accept as they claimed that i have no experience, and this move would be good for growth. I had to say no several times before just saying thank you and walking out.
