BEWARE! Unprofessional to say the least!! I went through 2 rounds of interviews, the 2nd with a very senior person at the bank. All went well during the interviews...and then after, it was radio silence. Crickets. I sent thank you emails within 24 hrs of interviews, I followed up with emails after 7-10 days, as appropriate - but no response or reply. After several weeks went by, I left a v/m with the recruiter, but still no reply. I was left hanging - not knowing if they were passing on me or if I was still a viable candidate for the position. Hint of advice: if you are passing on a candidate, have the courtesy to let them know. Oh, and not to mention - I was a referral of a current employee (fairly senior person) of the bank (and they knew this). Nice way to treat a prospective candidate/employee - especially one that is referred by an existing employee!!
