First there was a telephonic discussion with HR. She asked my details and things looked good until she asked my current package. She replied with a big okay on hearing the current compensation and then scheduled the interview. I have 5+ years of C++ development interview experience. The interviewer had an experience of 2 years in IT industry (2017 college pass out). I was shocked to see the interviewer. She kept looking in a paper beside her to ask the questions. However I answered all the questions correctly and accurately. After following up with HR via email for 7 days, I got an auto generated mail that your profile was impressive but they have decided to go ahead with other candidates. Advice to management : If you do not have the budget, please don't take interviews for the name sake and stop wasting other's time. HR never replies once interview is done. A constructive feedback is always appreciated, do provide that at least.
