The interview process began with a phone screening followed by a one-hour interview with the hiring manager. The interview itself was straightforward, consisting of standard questions, and I left feeling it went well.
Unfortunately, after the interview I never received any follow-up. I waited over six weeks and even reached out for an update, but received no response. At that point, I assumed I had been ghosted.
The lack of communication was the most disappointing part of the experience. I took an unpaid sick day from work and drove an hour to the warehouse for the interview, so I expected the courtesy of a response, even if they decided not to move forward. The experience left me with the impression that the company does not value candidates' time or effort.
