Not a great interview experience. Expected better as I had heard great things about airbnb and its culture. Applied through employee referral as I have found it impossible to get a call through usual channel of applying online. Completed recruiter screen. Seemed very friendly and transparent about the lengthy interview process, showed interest in getting things moved faster. HM screen was definitely not as expected. Interviewer had a lot of internet issues (screen froze at least 5 times in-between answers) and we were repeating same questions/answers a multiple times in the first 20 mins of the call because of these constant interruption. Interviewer also felt like was not interested in conducting the interview. Interview Process is indeed very elaborate. This is based on the discussions with the recruiter. 1. HM Screen 2. Data analysis exploration Screening 3. SQL & Metrics Screening 4. Experimentation Screening 5. Presentation (Related to Round 4) 6. Panel Interviews with 4-5 people
