Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en ALDI (Sheffield, Inglaterra)

I applied online, which was a lengthy process in itself. I received an email being invited to a group interview which was fairly easy, the same day I received an email inviting me to a work assessment to show how I worked. You work 2hrs for free basically. You get to choose an allocated time to which when I arrived at the store I was told they had not been told I was coming and that I should come back another day, after explaining I couldn't do another day he me stay and made me work a pallet of stock to see how fast you could do it. I then got told by the manager that it went really well and I should wait to receive and email inviting me along to a one on one interview with the area manager. He told me I may have to wait a few weeks to be invited along to this. After over a month of waiting I got an email saying I hadn't got the job. I was rather upset seen as the manager of the store I did my work trail with said I did good and would be invited to the next stage. I sent them an email after asking for an explanation, I am still waiting for a reply to that email 2 weeks later. Overall everyone seemed nice and welcoming it seems like a good place to work I would not like to put anyone off due to my experience but I am not very happy at the way they handled the situation. I feel as though I have been fobbed off and It was just a massive waste of my time.

Group interview where you had to role-play scenarios about working in the store. Hard to actually get a word in and it was online which made it even more difficult.
Had a group online interview and I felt it was very hard to get any point across and it felt very over the top and the process seemed too long for what the job actually was
Started as a group where we were educated on the history and benefits about working at ALDI, and were asked what we think working at ALDI is like. Seemed like a good company with fair pay. The individual interview itself only asked availability.
