I had worked in the academic field with Lexis and Westlaw representatives for years, and since I was familiar with the relationships they were expected to build with law school faculty and librarians, I felt I had a good handle on what Bloomberg needed as well. Also, I liked the idea of Bloomberg being relatively new to the legal research database field, and this job would provide an opportunity to get in on the ground floor, so to speak.
