We are looking for a Senior Front end Developer to own the evolution of a Design System and translate it into production-ready, reusable UI controls that scale across teams. This role sits at the core of a modern Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform used daily by caregivers, clinicians, and care staff.
The focus of this role is to reduce friction in complex clinical workflows by delivering intuitive, consistent, and reliable user experiences. You will combine design systems thinking, front-end engineering, and AI-assisted development practices to ensure that powerful healthcare functionality is delivered through clear, usable, and maintainable interfaces. This is a senior individual contributor role with direct impact on product quality, developer efficiency, and patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Audit the existing Design System to identify gaps, inconsistencies, missing patterns, and undocumented decisions.
Define, evolve, and govern UI standards, interaction patterns, layout rules, and accessibility guidelines.
Ensure the Design System reflects production-ready implementation patterns, not just conceptual designs.
Design and build reusable UI controls aligned with the Design System.
Implement UI components using Blazor and Telerik Control Libraries, balancing third-party controls with custom standards.
Define scalable HTML and SCSS patterns that enforce consistency and long-term maintainability.
Create clear, developer-focused documentation for UI controls, components, and Design System standards.
Document rationale, constraints, and implementation guidance to support consistent adoption.
Integrate Design System artifacts and documentation into a spec-driven development workflow.
Improve design-to-development handoffs by aligning design artifacts, specifications, and implementation.
Use Figma and Figma Make to translate design intent into structured, implementable outputs.
Leverage AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and MCP Servers to accelerate development, documentation, and consistency checks.
Continuously improve workflows that promote reuse, speed, and correctness across teams.
Basic Qualifications
Intermediate/Advanced English skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable owning systems and standards end to end.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across UX, engineering, and product teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Openness to new tools, workflows, and AI-assisted development practices.
Technical Qualifications
Strong, hands-on experience with Blazor in production environments.
Extensive experience using Telerik Control Libraries, including customization and theming.
Expert-level knowledge of HTML and SCSS, including scalable and maintainable styling systems.
Proven experience building reusable UI components and shared control libraries.
Demonstrated experience building, evolving, or governing a Design System.
Strong understanding of enforcing UX standards and consistency at scale.
Experience translating visual and interaction design from tools like Figma into production-ready UI components.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude).
Ability to operate as a bridge between UX and engineering, ensuring both design fidelity and technical quality.
