We are looking for Audit Seniors with recent public accounting experience conducting audits of financial statements, preferably with some focus on nonprofit organizations. The ideal candidate is a skilled, articulate, passionate professional with excellent analytical skills. Responsibilities and qualifications would include:

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate planning, fieldwork, and audit completion and wrap up.
• Preparation of GAAP compliant financial statements with disclosures.
• Preparation of Board communications and management letters.
• Assessing, documenting, and testing of controls and detail accounts.
• Applying technical skills in compliance with professional and firm standards.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Defining and adhering to client deadlines and deliverables.
• Collaborating with Managers and Principals to ensure timely service.
• Review of staff work, and mentoring and training of staff on audits.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors or Masters in Accounting.
• 3+ years’ auditing experience in public accounting with a CPA firm.
• CPA license or actively seeking CPA certification.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• Specific experience auditing nonprofits.
• Experience preparing financial statements and disclosures.
• Experience with audit software applications and MS Office.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and on a team.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
