He estado trabajando en IBM en tiempo completo (Más de 10 años)
Good working env. with talents. Diversity , inclusion.
Bureaucracy, sometimes it took a lot of effort to find out the right contact for support
Me postulé a través de otra fuente. El proceso me llevó Más de 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en IBM (Taipei (Taiwán)).
I interviewed at IBM in Taiwan. Since I’ve been working in states I would like to provide some quite bizarre “signs” from my perspective:
1. Request for English proficiency. But when I interviewed with them they literally asked me if I speak mandarin. Seriously?
2. No formal HR process: neither ask for expected salary nor HR interview process. Oh one thing, their “assistant” tried to get my personal number or contact. Why?
3. Used their internal project as a take-home challenge: bottom line- you shouldn’t be spending to much time on a take home design challenge. Then I learned this is their ”internal project”. During the interview I literally heard that they were expecting “more detailed” solution. Sounds skeptical doesn’t it?
4. No mutual communication: the on-site took about 1.5 hour for take home challenge presentation. They didn’t give any time for the interviewee to meet the team or ask questions.
To sum up: not the IBM you will expect.
