    Ventajas

    Great place to work, very fun, energetic and everyone is so nice and they work with you to succeed and to grow

    Desventajas

    There wasnt any downsides of working for paypal. Its great company with many perks. They help you allot to grow and to be successful even if your not with them anymore

    Ventajas

    They pay is excellent and there is opportunity abound. People tend to be open and sharing. Everyone wants to do what is right and personally I have not felt a lack of support from my colleagues.

    Desventajas

    If you are not Indian in the platform teams - you are a minority. Funny thing is, the reverse is true for some other teams. If the company is hitting it's diversity goals it needs to desegregate too and have safeguards against racial nepotism. The culture does not appreciate assertiveness either. Even the most innocuous contrary statement like " I am not sure that is going to work the way you envision." Is construed as horribly negative. I think it's the larger than normal H1B effect where ones are less likely to push back for fear of negative impact. Such blowback means a loss of your entire life in the US. It's also middle management's aversion to conflict at any cost. The result can be badly designed processes and software or endless "alignment" meetings. It all boils down to no one wanting to take responsibility and ownership. If the company wants to change for the better, it needs to encourage ownership.
