I had a great screening call with a recruiter who had recently been hired at Zoom. Towards the end of the interview, she said that she would be recommending me to move forward with a 1:1 with the hiring manager and that she would reach out to me the next day to schedule it. A couple of days passed, and when I followed up, she said they had gone in a different direction (honestly, it felt like she forgot about me based on the language she used in the email). I requested feedback on what would make me a better candidate, but never received it. I hoped to be treated better, given that I was referred by another employee. Overall, it was a rough and fairly confusing experience.

My honest personal feedback overall the clear interview session was only with HR. Which she could explain about the team situation, incentive and kind of products. I did asked those details questions to users as well because I think user supposed to know better on this. I asked couple of questions to first user and she mostly doesn’t know how to respond regarding what kind of type of our potential clients, the incentive scheme, even when I asked is there any office in indo and what kind the office hour type in zoom then she asked back to me which one do I prefer? Then she cannot said honestly if there’s none of existing office but gave a confusing answer. The last users a bit better, but when it came to my question on the working hour in zoom he didn’t straightly answer but asked me again which one do I prefer? So I said tbh I prefer hybrid. He said there’s none of official office but we usually have this once in two weeks offline meeting. Honestly I am quite confuse with the role that they offer on linkedin with the jobdesc as sales to acquisition clients because at the end they expect looking for a BD with partnership background which I got to know after spent times for couple of interviews.
