Applied on -line. contacted via phone for interview followed by date for drug testing, final interview and orientation, this took 10 days from start to first day of work. I was interviewed by 3 different managers.

All the questions were pretty general about retail work and common sense, but they keep coming back to "How do you handle an upset customer". This one question was asked and worded differently at least seven times.
WalMart places a high value on customer service and wants to know that their sale associates have good people skills.
There was a lot of questions but overall it went pretty decent. They were your standard interview questions. I am happy with the outcome but maybe I could do better next time.
The interview was brief but straight forward. I interviewed with someone and was done within 15 minutes. They asked a few questions about myself and past job experience. Then I progressed to the next steps in the hiring process. The next steps where orientation.
Solid and very well informative process. It was straightforward and well put together. I really enjoyed the people that I interacted with and ultimately chose another route due to time constraints.
