Entrevista
This wasn't a real interview, but the experience left me with a negative impression of Vertafore's recruiting organization. They contacted me via a connection on LinkedIn based on my profile. They asked me to send them my resume, which is almost a complete duplicate of my LinkedIn profile but with more details. Then they sent 2 emails explaining to me in detail why I was unqualified for the position. I was completely baffled by the experience. Why did they contact me to begin with? This was such a strange experience. In the meantime, I've received a very nice offer from a Fortune 500 company which I have accepted.
This experience with Vertafore just came off as extremely amateur--and it wasn't amateur behavior from just one recruiter, but two in-house recruiters there. So, if you have this experience don't take it to heart. They clearly don't know what they're doing and how to build relationships.
There were 5 rounds.
1) Call with recruiter was for 45 mins
2) Meeting with hiring manager for 90 mins
3) Meeting with team for 90 mins
4) Meeting with HR for 45 mins
5) Meeting with VP for 30 mins

I had no interview!! that is the point, I was not allowed to speak or ask.
The experience was not pleasant at all. All the time I wasted and I could not even have a conversation with a human being since the human resources person did not let me ask questions. The only interest was to do tests and more aptitude tests.
I do not disagree with the tests because sometimes they can identify personality parameters not according to a position. However, to what extent should they use it or at what point should companies use it. It is worth more than 50 questions, that even in the indications indicate that there is no good or bad answer. they also suggest that even if they are incorrect, the point is to answer them all, so hurry up and answer the 50 otherwise it will count against you ... I think these should be done at least when you have initially conversed with a human being, in this way both the candidate and the company will know if there is the connection with what you think the position is. Not that I lost 2 days doing tests to be told "thank you but your results are not as expected! Lesson learned I am not worth a test I have a lot of experience and many years of study that make me a competent candidate, so I will continue my path, I would not like to work in a company that does not fulfill what they say, because they mention the balance of work and life, and RH always wrote to me last 8 o'clock at night!

Entrevista
Required to take an IQ test and if you meet their requirements you are then required to take a second IQ test on a webcam with the recruiter breathing down your neck. I admit that did throw me off a bit so I imagine I botched my second attempt. I'd like to see the recruiter take that test with me breathing down their neck with their job on the line.
