There were three total rounds. The first was a phone screening with the Recruiting Manager. The second round was at their Chicago office a week later and was two hours total, consisting of four, thirty minute behavioral interviews. The third round again was at their Chicago office one week later with the VP's, COO and CEO in the same two hour total, four, thirty minute behavioral interview style, but the CEO did not show up.
The first phone screening was a classic phone interview. Questions included: tell me about yourself, why are you interested in our company, why are you interested in this role, why do you want to leave your current role. After this call, I received an email a few days later to schedule a second round interview the following Friday.
The second round interview consisted of traditional behavioral interview questions with 4 different employees of Utilities International. My first two interviews were with Management Consultants and they asked me traditional behavioral questions (in addition to the basic questions from the phone screening): Tell me about a time you had to manage priorities, how would you tell someone you didn't know something, how have you worked with a team, how have you managed a conflict. The second half of interviews were with two managers. The first was extremely casual and was a conversation, the second was more technical and I was asked questions how I leveraged Tableau, SQL, etc. in my previous experiences.
After this interview, I received an email in a few days to schedule a third round interview. This interview is with the Executive Team of the company and is only held on the first Friday of each month. The third round interview is held in the same style as the second round interview, but the four, thirty minute interviews are slightly different. My first and second interview this day was held with two of the VPs of Consulting for the organization. The two vs one environment is more formal than the previous round and the VPs also ask more technical questions around your experience. After meeting with the VPs I met with the COO, where we spoke more about the the company and work guidelines. My final meeting was supposed to be with the CEO, but he was unable to make the interview day.
