I applied online, then took the exam. I scored a 79.80. I interviewed for two positions the casual and city carrier assistant. The first day was an interview for the casual position. There was a lot of paperwork to fill out and finger printing.The pay was $$10/hr with no benefits. The postmaster let us know that this is a physical demanding job. All the potential employees were okay with that. I interviewed with a woman who seemed to not have much personality. She didn't give eye contact nor did she smile and popped bubble gum during the interview, but she did recommend my application.The next day I interviewed for the city carrier assistant position. Again, I had to fill out paperwork, give finger prints, and interview. My interview went so well that the interviewer strongly recommended me. Two days later I received an email link to complete my background. If you live in a particular state you will be directed to print off your information and fax it to the company, but only certain states. Two days after that I received an email link to do a drug test. I've been called by other cities that I applied to, to interview for their open positions. The post office needs people because of the early retirement. Make sure you are honest about your background and driver record, sometimes honesty gets you along way. Arrive on time and prepared.
