It took about a month. Human resources will email you stating you have been accepted for the position after passing testing. The office you applied for will call you for an interview, the will reccommend hiring if they feel you are the right fit. Email follows for hiring at the main facility, you do hiring paperwork. Email follows for training and postal academy. It's a multi process interview, but well worth it.

No interview. Received an email with a job offer and orientation was scheduled a few weeks later. Called the postmaster on the job listing to get more information in between the offer and orientation.

No questions were asked as there was not an interview process.
Not really an interview. If you pass the background check you have the job. The United States Postal Service does not require a traditional interview. Very easy. I love it here.

There was no interview. I pretty much just took a test and they sent me back a conditional offer. When I got to my orientation with 3 other people they all had the same experience.
