Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en Staples (Wilkesboro, NC) en abr 2015
Entrevista
The lady was very nice and cordial. I was nervous as I hadn't interviewed in quite sometime so I was rusty. She asked some very practical questions which I thought were strong questions to ask. I had rather wordy answers however; strong answers.
Afterwards my overall impression I got is that I knocked it out of the park. I did not think I did well but the Interviewer made it seem like I was a shoe win. They actually contacted me upfront before I even was able to log back on and finish my application online.
She told me that the next step was to interview with I'm assuming her boss and I was told she is very busy and was not going to be back into the store for almost 2 solid weeks because she is dealing with family matters. I told her I completely understood and family comes first. In the back of my mind I felt 2 weeks was a little ridiculous but I digress.
I left the store and I never received any response back after that 2 week period. I decided to call and follow up. I heard people talking in the background about me as I was on the phone trying to get rid of me. She fed me some lie and we ended the call. It was very strange as I was pretty much all but hired as far as I was concerned and my friends and family were happy to hear it. I was left with a very bad taste in my mouth.

In the event a customer was buying a computer how would you go about convincing them to buy one of them here at Staples? What are some questions you would ask the customer to help sell a computer.
Interview was super quick and casual. Mostly answering questions about my strengths and availability. It was about a 15-20 minute interview. The interviewer was transparent about how many other applicants there were.
Interview process was fairly easy consisting of just one interview with the manager. Questions were the typical / generic kind. Got a call back in decent time frame. Wouldn't sweat the process.

Can you talk a bit more about your customer service experience?
Contacted the company about a cashiering job. Was put in touch with the right person after a reasonable amount of time. Things seemed to go as expected. Nothing tricky about it.
