I was contacted for a HR screening call. The recruiter ask me for my current pay and expected pay and motivations. Was ghosted after the call although the recruiter promised to get back. I checked with my peers at Standard Chartered and they shared that some of the recruiting function has been outsourced to external recruiting firms and I am just contributing to their salary survey.
