I had 3 rounds of interviews. Firstly, an initial screen with HR, followed by a panel interview with representatives from their Lincoln NE office, and a final round consisting of an interview/presentation with leaders in the Austin TX office. We then capped off with a coffee wrap up with HR from Austin.
The process was enjoyable overall. They keep it professional, yet laid back designed to make you feel comfortable. The final round (presentation) was extremely thought provoking and the leadership had great follow up questions.
The best way to describe the process was “normal” in terms of interviewing. The culture and the people made the interview unique and refreshing!

Be prepared for open conversation and behavioral based interview questions.
I’d rather not share the presentation questions to protect their integrity but will say be prepared to share steps and strategies on vendor relationship management as well as increasing margin and profit strategies.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a detailed review. We appreciate your insight! If you have any additional feedback to share, don't hesitate to reach out to our People & Culture team or careers@spreetail.com. Thank you!

For the most part, the interview process was positive. There was a first round call with someone in HR, followed by a video conference call with the Dept. Mgr., followed by another short round with HR. This is where things get different. The company provides candidates with data and asks them to put together a presentation based upon what is provided to them. Then the candidate has to present this in front of a panel of 3 company managers for the final interview. In theory, this isn't so bad. But, it's almost unreasonable to ask candidates who are most likely interviewing multiple other places (or, are currently employed) at the same time to invest the many hours it takes to complete what this task (for me, it took a solid 8 hours).

I thought it was a fair and a great experience. I had 2 phone interviews and was invited to fly out there for the 3rd interview. I have a son in high school who really didnt want to move, so I let them know, that it would be a waste of time for them to invest in me flying out there till he graduates. Not saying I would have received an offer, I just felt bad for taking their time. They were great to work with and understanding. Over all I had a had a good time talking to the two individuals that I interviewed with.

The interview process was quick, and the company had a great interview process. The first thing is a screening interview with recruiting, which I found refreshing and low pressure. I felt comfortable asking questions and being transparent as I feel like they were open with me.
The next interview was a phone interview with a hiring manager within three days. The quick turn around was a nice bonus. The meeting went great, no overly complicated questions, really just a conversation to get to know you and experience. I felt like the manager was well prepared and professional.
The final interview was a panel interview; it was not a traditional panel interview. It was more of a group conversation and was very comfortable. My recommendation on these is to be yourself and put effort into the work sample. I felt like the work sample was mostly to gage effort and to see how you process information and think.
