The interview process was very professional and thought out. The team was very energetic and excited. The questions asked during the interview were centered around project management and past experiences.

The hiring process was very good and felt very smooth. I initially started out with a call from HR and then had four phone interviews and a final face to face interview. I really enjoyed everybody I spoke with and the conversations felt very natural. While there were some traditional interview questions, everybody made it feel like a good conversation.

Ridiculous..Don't waste your time with this company!! As you can see from many people they are incredibly unprofessional, and are totally inconsiderate of prospective candidates, which is obvious sign that they are not concerned about being an employer of choice. My experience took over 2 months. I had to initiate constant follow up to get details on the next steps as no one bothered to keep me updated, even though I was one of their final candidates. I initially interviewed with the HR representative and she was totally unprepared for our scheduled phone interview. She didn't even have my resume in front of her and was completely unorganized or unknowledgeable about my background. It didn't seem like she even had questions prepared. She told me she would line up a phone interview the Regional Manager. No call came and after another half week I sent an email to her to make sure I didn't miss a call or email detailing the next steps. The following day I got a call from the Regional Manager and he set up a phone interview for the following day. He then scheduled an in person interview the next week. He immediately told me I was moving on to the next "phase" and that he wanted me to talk to a few other people in the upcoming week. A week went by and finally he called me back to set up a phone interview with his former boss, also a Regional Manager, and another Regional Manager from elsewhere in the country, on two separate days. The former boss asked me a lot of questions that I deemed inappropriate for a job interview, such as if I were married, did I have kids, what I do in my spare time, etc...He then proceeded to tell me had 10 kids and a lot of information, that again I didn't ask about, or was completely irrelevant or appropriate. I don't know if he was giving me some type of litmus test to test me on my morality or what. It was just weird. The following week I got another call from the Regional Manager setting up a phone interview with the big boss, the National Manager. He kept reminding me that I only had 30 minutes of his time, but he did most of the talking and didn't seem to know who I had already spoken to in the company. He kept asking me, did you speak to...... That interview was on a Friday. After that phone interview (now my 6th interview, with 5 different people), he told me they were very particular on who they hired, but that the Regional Manager, would get back to everyone the following week. Again, no response back that following week and finally the week on that Monday I called and left a message for the Regional Manager. He did not answer and I left a message letting him know that I was still interested in the position and wanted to know what the next steps were, or if a decision was made. I never got a call back from him. I tried him again 4 days later, and got him live. I think he was taken off guard and definitely acted very flustered. I told him I wasn't sure if he got my message (hint, hint) and that I was definitely very interested and was just following up to see if any decision had been made. He then gave some excuse about how they would all be in Texas for a trade show and would hopefully sit down (all 5 of them) to discuss the candidates, but no decision would be made until the end of the following week. He told me definitely he would get back to me either way, whether I got the job or not, the beginning of the following week. He also mentioned, which I thought was totally odd, that I would happy to know that I was one the 8 finalist. I thought that was odd because who narrows it down to 8 finalists??? When you narrow something down to finalists, it is 2 or 3. That right there let me know the jig was up and something was definitely screwy. I never got a call from him as he promised "one way or another", nor did I get the respect of an email if he was too cowardly to call me himself, from him or HR to at least "release" me from the process officially. After almost a full week past the deadline of when he said notification would come, I sent an email to the HR lady who started the process. She emailed me back to tell me that the position had been filled. Again, I had to initiate where I stood rather than a simple and professional email stating they had chosen another candidate. Of course I would have been disappointed, but I would have been ok with it. I understand every job I apply for I will not get. It is part of the process. However, after going over 2 months, interviewing 6 times, with 5 different people, being told something specific was going to happen, and it did not, I was obviously very disgusted that I was lied to and strung along deliberately. The process for you will be the same if it is a field based position because all the parties involved were Regional Sales Managers across the country, along with the National Manager, so they obviously use the same tactics for hiring. Very bad experience!!

Honestly, I was asked very few questions about my experience or my accomplishments. It was mostly personal questions and the some "situational" questions, like "Tell me about a time....". These seem to be standard questions now for most companies and they can range all over the board so there is really no way to prepare for them or really tell the interviewer much about what type of employee you would be. It is sort of a "gotcha" question.
